Our Services

At Caring for Family Consulting and Caregiving, we are dedicated to providing a range of comprehensive services to meet the unique needs of aging seniors, disabled and individuals, along with their families. Our services include:

 

1. Housing Alternative: Shared Housing and Group Residential Housing are located for those on fixed income needing an alternative to Assisted Living Facility or Nursing Homes.

2.   Weekly Meal Prep: We provide weekly or biweekly cooking and/or cleaning services for the need of the client.  Items are purchased by the client and their family in order for our staff to prep meals in advance, freeze and to prevent cross contamination. *

3. Personal Care Assistant.  Our trained staff are experienced in the care of basic needs such as toileting, bathing, dressing, transfers and exercises.

4.Resources: We help you find local resources and services in your area. From lawncare to social services

   

*All food containers and cleaning utensils must be provided by the client and their family to prevent cross contamination from others and will remain in the client's home

**Must use the client's insured vehicle or public transportation

Common Concerns

When considering elderly care services, it's common to have questions and concerns. Here are some common questions that potential clients have:

Are caregivers trained in senior care?

Yes, our caregivers are highly trained and tested in basic care for the elderly making  them skilled in senior care.  Upon request, special training of the caregivers are provided based on each family particular needs.

Can family members be trained as caregivers?

Yes, we offer training programs for family members who wish to become primary caregivers.  Having at least two family members is suggested.

How long is the training?

The in-home training of family members varies based on the specific needs and requirements of the family. Minimum time is two hours and upward of four hours is typical for direct hands-on training to get fully trained.
